ALARA staff are highly trained health and safety professionals, registered with the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists and certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. In addition to postgraduate training in occupational hygiene and chemistry, our staff have training in, psychology, microbiology, business management, computer science and ergonomics. We have forged links with other professionals in allied fields which allow us to provide a very extensive range of health, safety and environment related services.

We stay current with developments in hazard recognition, evaluation and control through attendance at regular training courses, seminars, and technical conferences.

We are fully equipped with the personal monitoring and area air sampling instrumention and equipment, required to evaluate exposures to the majority of workplace hazards. Our samples are analyzed by laboratories with demonstrated and recognized expertise in chemical biological and physical analysis.
